Shani Dham, the Shani Dev Temple, is located in Kushfara village, just 51 kilometres from Prayagraj, 16 kilometres from Pratapgarh, 116 kilometres from Ayodhya, and 3 kilometres from Vishwanathganj(Nearby Market). Along with Shani Dev, the Hanuman and Manokamana temples are also on the same grounds. Every Saturday, a large crowd gathers to worship here. Also, the Hindu festival of Navratri is also observed here.

The Shani Dham looks like a “Shri Yantra”. It has Prayag in the south direction, Ayodhya in the North, Varanasi in the East & Holy Ganga in the West. This combination also makes the temple a unique attraction.

As per the mythology, the idol of Shani Dev is self incarnated. The idol has been searched by the priest of the temple Swami Parma Maharaj. Even he constructed the temple also. The temple is at a rock on the bank of the Bakulahi river. The ambience of the temple is full of natural beauty & serenity.

On every Saturday, a fair at the temple attracts a heavy crowd. Also, some special pooja & procession also happen on Saturday. The devotee also offers 56 types of food (56 Bhog) to Lord Shani Dav on that day.

The temple is well connected with Prayagraj by road. Although, Train connectivity is available but very few trains run on the route. Also, the temple falls in Prayagraj- Ayodhya route, so it can be easily covered with both the pilgrim centres.
